Pop-up GroundhogWhat You Need: Brown construction paper Large tongue depressor Paper cup Markers Scissors Glue How to Make It 1. Draw a small groundhog on a piece of brown paper and cut out. Use markers to draw a face and other features on the groundhog. 2. Glue the groundhog onto the top part of the tongue depressor. Allow to dry. 3. Cut a slit as wide as the tongue depressor in the bottom of the paper cup (which can be decorated or left as is). 4. Slide the bottom of the tongue depressor through the slit from the top. The kids can use this end of the tongue depressor to make the groundhog pop-up out of the cup.
